Garlic Bread

I helped my friend host a luncheon for our church staff yesterday and I made this garlic bread that I want to share with you because it was really good.

1 loaf french bread cut lengthwise into 2 halves
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/4 cup mayo
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
pinch of kosher salt
pinch of black pepper
pinch of red pepper flakes

This garlic is from the freezer section at Trader Joe’s. I’m sure they have it at other stores as well.  It is so convenient and not messy.  Love it! Place it in a ziploc bag in your freezer so the whole refrigerator does not smel like garlic.

Mix above together.  Preheat broiler.  Generously spread mixture over the french bread.  Place under broiler in the middle of the oven.  Watch constantly and turn the cookie sheet to brown entire loaves.  About 3 to 4 minutes.  Cut into 2 inch chunks using an electric knife.
Enjoy!
(the picture of the finished product is from the day after.  I reheated it in the oven and it was actually better than the day before)
