Frozen Cherry Salad

You may have had this a million times, it is an old favorite for a lot of families, at least from the Midwest.  But here it is in case you have forgotten about it or you are a new cook and need an easy one.   I like it because it takes about 5 minutes to throw together and then you freeze it and it is one less salad to worry about on the big day.

Frozen Cherry Salad
1 can (20 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 large (21 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8oz.) Cool Whip thawed
1 can (14 oz.) Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 cup chopped toasted pecans (optional but really good)

Mix together pie filling and pineapple and Eagle brand, then fold in Cool Whip and then pecans.  Place in a 9X13 pan.  Cover and freeze.  Thaw 15 minutes before serving.
