If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area you might know that we have 2 new Trader Joe’s grocery stores here. They have stores all over the country but are new to our area. I love their products. We lived in St. Louis for a few years where they have been for years. Reasonably priced and great quality! Go check them out. Trader Joe’s Website
I had the great pleasure of hosting 4 Baylor girls for fall break last weekend. They love to eat. It is so much fun cooking and baking for them. We had a couple of yummy Trader Joe’s frozen products that I wanted to share with you. They would be excellent for Thanksgiving guests. Just set them out the night before and the next morning they are poofed up and ready to go in the oven for 20 minutes or so.
Chocolate French Toast (garnish with Bananas, syrup and Trader Joe’s Glazed Pecans and a dollop of whipped cream) You do not set this out overnight. It stays frozen until you pop it in the oven in the morning. So easy and very impressive.
Chocolate Croissants and Almond Croissants
Prepare according to package directions. They rise over night. And are beautiful the next morning.
Bake, and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
Other products I like.
This cornbread is the best. It has kernels of corn in it. Of course it is best served with Land O Lakes Honey Butter or Cinnamon Butter and Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Butter (get this quick, it is seasonal).
I also like the Double Roasted Salsa and Marinara. There are just too many to list. So many fun seasonal products. Spiced Cider is excellent. Add a little Caramel syrup (like you add to coffee drinks) and you have Caramel Apple Cider. Stalk up now. You need to go!
