Dani’s friend Emily made this for their pre-Thanksgiving dinner. She said it was really good. We are going to have it at our house. You might want to try it at yours.
Grown-up Mac and Cheese
1/2 cup butter
2 cups milk
2 packages dry ranch dressing mix
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
16 oz. Velveeta
Melt all of the above together in a saucepan on low heat.
Stir in 16 oz. sour cream and 12 crushed saltines.
Boil 3 cups elbow macaroni. Stir the above mixture into the macaroni. Place in a buttered 9X13″ pan. Bake at 325 for one hour.
