The peaches are so good right now. This is a super easy dessert to make. If you don’t have parfait glasses you can buy them at Bed Bath and Beyond or just use a large beverage glass.
Using the recipe for Strawberry Short cakes on the side of the Bisquick box, make dough and gently pat out on a floured surface. Cut with a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass with a little flour on it. Press gently into some raw sugar. Then press on some sliced almonds. Bake according to package.
Slice fresh peaches in a bowl and add a little sugar. About 1 TBS per peach.
To assemble, start with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the bottom of a glass. Crumble one half of a shortcake on top, then a spoon of peaches with juice. One more scoop of ice cream, the other half of the shortcake, finish with another scoop of peaches and juice. Top with whipped cream from an aerosol can.
