Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

Want to make your valentine a really special dinner? Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin is easy and a new favorite for all who try it. Serve it with Mandarin Orange Salad with Poppy Seed dressing and Orange Pecans and Cheesy Potatoes. Finish it off with Chocolate Ecstasy and he will think you have been to Culinary school. All these recipes are easy and can be started the day before or at least 4 hours before serving.
The cheapest price on pork tenderloin is at Sam’s. They are in a vacuum sealed bag and there are 2 bags of 2, packaged together. You will need about 1/2 tenderloin per person. They freeze really well and it is great to have a couple on hand in the freezer. You can adapt this recipe according to how many people you are feeding. You can also buy them at your neighborhood grocery store.

Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
Pork Tenderloin
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbs. honey
2 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions:
Mix together all ingredients in a ziploc bag. Add pork and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours. This is enough marinade for 1-4 tenderloins. Turn halfway through if convenient.

Remove tenderloin from marinade. Wrap each tenderloin in bacon. Each tenderloin requires 2 to 3 pieces of bacon. Place in an oven proof baking dish, with ends of bacon underneath the tenderloin. Pour marinade over the top.

Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice in 1/4 inch slices.

Dudelicious!
