Mom’s Dirty Rice….edited

You can’t believe how easy this is, but how great the result. Did I mention my mom is a great, from scratch cook? She is.

Mom’s Dirty Rice
Ingredients:
2 cups Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice
1 can Campbell’s Beef Consomme
1 can Campbell’s Beef Boullion
1 stick butter

Instructions:
Place the uncooked rice in a 9X13 baking dish or pan. Pour in the 2 soups. Put the stick of butter on top and place in the oven, 350 degrees for 35 minutes. When butter has melted, stir once. Serve with Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin and Mandarin Orange Salad.

Sorry – question. Do you cook the rice first? Or do you just pour uncooked rice into the pan?

    Thank you!
